At Takadao, our mission is to help people worldwide come together to mutually protect one another against adverse life events by leveraging the power of blockchain technology.
Takadao is a shariah-compliant, blockchain-native cooperative insurance. Structured as a DAO, members contribute to a fund that is used to mutually insure one another. Insurance contracts are designed as smart contracts and members share in profits from investment returns. The target audience are the 2bil Muslims globally that are underinsured due to a lack of shariah-compliant insurance.
